Happy Valentine's Day!

I know it's a bit late for this but I wanted to post a few fun ideas! I just figured out that my small round stickers fit PERFECTLY in the lids of mini Playdough tubs... so cute!
I bought these heart lollipops in the $ section at Target for my daughters MDO Valentine Party.
And this is for my son's Bible Class. I loved that there was no work involved (except the time spent designing and printing the stickers... but that doesn't count).

Anyway, I hope you have a SWEET Valentine's Day and be sure to check out all my new Spring/Easter Stickers!

~ Inspiration Monday ~ Debut Post!

Can you believe that I struggled with this first "inspiration" post? I decided to start with something simple that can work for almost any occasion! I had a customer, last year actually, request a cute gymnast sticker for her daughters "tumbling" birthday party. I had so much fun creating this design.

She decided to use take-out boxes for the party favors (leopard print of course) and the pink and brown stickers are just so sweet in combination with the animal print. I am seriously tempted to make my little girl have a gymnastics party next year so I can do this myself!

Do you have a gymnast in the family? This would be great packaging for a little gift for the girls and coaches for christmas, birthday, etc.
Of course this idea would work with any of the stickers in my shop:)

Blogging Schedule

I have decided that because of my complete inability to think of anything interesting to blog about on any sort of regular basis, I am going to put myself on a "blogging schedule".

Here is how the week will go (of course I reserve the right to be lazy and skip a day every once in a while...)

~ Inspiration Monday ~ every week will be a new idea for using my products! So even if you don't think you need stickers I will give you a new reason for them every single Monday:)
** Also, if you have purchased from me in the past and have pics of the stickers "in action" please email them to autumnleahdesigns@gmail.com for 10% off your next order!!

~ All about YOU Tuesday ~ Since Mondays will be all about me I figured I better balance things out a bit by talking about my wonderful customers! Every Tuesday I will choose a random customer and feature them in a post. This will probably end up being customers who have businesses or blogs to show off...

~ Random Thursday ~ This is pretty self explanatory. I will devote Thursdays to complete randomness. You might get to read about a recent purchase I made, what my latest "pre-natal cravings" are, or how much I hate laundry (soooo very much).

Anyway, that is pretty much how it will go and hopefully I will stick to my self-inflicted schedule.
Check back Monday and see if I was able to make it through the first day!

Sick of Sickness

About the only good thing that has happened the past couple weeks is that my shop sales have slowed a little (I know, it doesn't sound "good"). My daughter has been sick with a double-ear infection and strep, eek!!! I felt horrible. She was complaining about it last week and I didn't believe her (she tends to like going to the doctor... weird kid) and sure enough, she was telling the truth! Add to that morning sickness (and afternoon sickness and night sickness) and a baby boy getting two new teeth and that equals STRESS.

I am so DONE being sick and being around sickness... I hope anyway.

Now, some might think that since I have been stuck home for so long and since things have been slow that I have had tons of time to design new holiday stickers... some might think that. Some might be very wrong. I do have a couple new logos to show and I do have a couple fall stickers as well. Hopefully the next couple weeks will bring a burst of energy and excitement for creativity!

Oh and be sure to check back tomorrow! I will be posting a GIVEAWAY!

More Logos!

Wow, things have been crazy the past couple weeks! I have been getting about 5-6 "logo" customers a week. This is so great for me but bad for my shop... nothing new to show! I promise in the next couple weeks I will work on some fun holiday sticker designs.
Anyway, here are a few of the logos I have completed recently...

New Logos

I have been SO BUSY with logos the past couple weeks and I am relieved to have a few of them COMPLETE! Here are some of my recent designs...

I have to thank Erin at Bath Cake Boutique for mentioning me in a soap forum! I have had several customers thanks to her:)

New Product!!!!

I am so excited about my newest product: Personalized Mini Candy Bar Labels!
I just received the shipment of labels today and I couldn't wait to get some printed and listed!
Customers will be able to choose from ANY of my current sticker designs and I will match the labels to them.
There are 30 labels in a set and they can be customized however you like.
I think this is such a fun idea for parties, trick-or-treating, little snacks for your kids lunch boxes... I could go on and on and on (I promise I won't).
Anyway, tell me what you think of the new item... will it sell?

More Stickers!

I am working like crazy to get my website stocked before the holidays get here. Here are a few of my latest designs.

New Logo Completed

I just finished a logo that I am so excited about! Lindy's Cookie Studio came to me for some help and I had such a blast creating a fun new logo for her. She wanted something that fit the whole "art studio" idea... what do you think?

Sweet Birthday Party

My little girl turned three last week and we had a fun party on Saturday to help celebrate. We made "wands" using painted wooden dowels and ribbon. The girls had a blast making them and playing princess all afternoon.

I decided to just make cupcakes because I had already made her a cake earlier in the week and because she didn't care either way. I was so excited to find cans of colored icing at Walmart that had different tips attached... so perfectly easy! I have to say that the cupcakes were by far the cutest ones I have made! The icing made it look like I knew what I was doing (I know, I'm an amateur).

We played "pin the crown on the princess" did other regular party stuff. Of course, I had bottled drinks (DP, Orange Soda, Water) with custom labels on them to match her party supplies. Each girl also went home with "This book belongs to:" princess stickers (personalized with their names of course), a pink crown sucker, "fancy" jewelry and a couple other sweet treats.

It was a lot of fun and she had a blast! The best part is seeing how much she enjoyed being the center of it all... that is where she thinks she belongs all the time!

Busy

Wow, this has been a crazy week! I have been working on several logos (yay!) and I am still trying to get my website completely ready to go before the holidays.
Add to that sick kids, sick me, messy house, birthday party today, husband leaving for camp tomorrow, positive pregnancy test, tons of orders and you have yourself a nutty week! Yes, I said POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST... yikes!! I have a six month old so this was a bit of a shock (understatement of the year...) but we are excited about it anyway:) I guess I will just be done having kids a couple years early! I told my husband that he will be coming to the hospital with me to have a procedure done himself... I am SO not joking! Ok yes I am, but it won't be long so he better watch out.
Well, I am off to throw a party for my 3 year old and I will post pics after.
Seeya!

Realistic People

Wow, I have to say that my most recent logo/business package design has been the most detailed so far. Daisy Day Brands wanted some realistic looking girls designed for their logo and I thought "sure, why not??!!". Thankfully I was working with the most patient clients ever and I think I came up with something we are both proud of.

Their website is Daisy Day Brands and will soon have a new template and logo!

Here is a sample of some of the work I did for them:

Disapeared for while...

I know I have been missing for a long while and I wish I had an excuse... but I don't... I am a lazy blogger. Yep, I will admit that I want to like "blogging" but I don't. I promise to try harder!
Anyway, I am excited to finally have my new site up and running. I have been spending a lot of time adding new designs and am very happy with how it has turned out. Unfortunately I can not take all the credit for the design... I have to thank Michelle from Polka Dot Dandy for helping me with it all! I am horrible with html and all that technical stuff and I would not have been able to do it without her.
Ok, this is the extent of my writing attention span so I am going to leave you with some fun new designs in my shop. Enjoy and be sure to stop by daily!

Lots of New Fun Stuff!

Lately I have been spending lots of time in my autumnleah shop and I am so excited about all of the new stickers I have added. Christmas this year is especially fun for me and I have so many ideas that my brain might explode before I can create them all!

I have also entered the world of product tags. I had so many people asking me if I could make them tags that I figured it was worth a try! They are fairly simple to make but I completely understand why people would rather pay someone else to make them... it is a little monotonous. BUT, it is still not a huge part of what I do so I am enjoying it:)

Anyway, stop in and see what "new fun stuff" autumnleah has to offer...

Some New Favs

Ok I know I have been slacking and not posting enough but I have been busy moving and settling and decorating that I just forgot! But don't worry, while I have been "away" I have still found plenty of time (maybe too much) making fun purchases on Etsy. Here are a few of the sweet things I couldn't resist!

First, I bought a whole bunch of neat vinyl decals for my new home and Kristen over at Magically Made was AMAZING and extremely helpful! I am also very impressed with her lower than average prices and I will definitely be back for more:)

magicallymade.etsy.com

Next, I found this adorable little soft jingle ball for my friend who is having a baby and I just HAD to have it!

AppleBlossomBaby.etsy.com

Then I bought this necklace completely on impulse because it is so darn unique! I can't wait to get some sweet pics of my little girl in it:)

RachelleD.etsy.com

For my crafty side I ordered a whole ton of these colorful "Yo-Yo" fabric flowers that I intend to add buttons to and make into clippies (So watch for them on my etsy site:)

yoyocottage.etsy.com

And last I bought this totally fun little invention called the "Dine-n-Doodle Chalk Place Mat" for my little girl! This is sure to keep her entertained at restaurants from now on!

LilBDesigns.etsy.com

Oh and I almost forgot to include the adorable fabric I bought to go with the others for my daughters room! I love Matryoshka Dolls!

milcotigerfavorite.etsy.com

I know you are thinking I went a little nuts, but hey, I have my own shop and a little thing called "paypal" and spending that money is completely painless!! YAY!
Anyway, have fun visiting each of these shops and enjoy!!

Moving Means REDECORATING!!!!

YAY!! We are finally getting ready to move into our new house and after all of this waiting I have decided that nothing old is worthy of being in my nice, clean, new home (obviously not EVERYTHING, but enough:). So I have decided to start fresh with my decorations! First up will be my daughters room and I am dying to get started! Like I have said before, I am a little obsessed with deer, and birds, and other woodland creatures and thought this would be such a fun theme for her room (only because my husband doesn't want frolicking deer on our bedroom wall... wonder why?). Anyway, my daughter gets the fun room and here are a few samples of fabric and other items that have inspired me.

Check back to see the design themes I have planned for other rooms... all of which (like my daughters room) will be helped by some amazing etsy artists!

This is one of the fabrics I will use for her bedding and maybe curtains:

These little softie deer are too cute! She doesn't have one yet but will soon:)

More deer fabric:)

And the perfect little prancing deer wall decals!

And these adorable little pieces of art made by my sister! Visit http://grace-violet.blogspot.com to see some of her other adorable crafty ideas!

Have something that you think would be sweet in this design? Let me know... I am always looking!

This almost makes me want to be organized...

http://custompaperdesigns.etsy.com

Thist little address File Box is sooo sweet!! I think everyone needs one sitting on theire desk so they can look like they are all important and "officey". I am always losing my address book anyway, what a great idea! Anyway, be sure and check out all the fun paper stuff at custompaperdesigns!

Ok so I am a slacker!!! My shops haven't even been that busy and I haven't posted one thing on an eternity! I promise to do better in the future (if I feel like it and the sun is shining and the wind is blowing in the right direction;).

Anyway, leg warmer season has passed us by (for the most part) and therefore I am left without anything to do! So, I decided to revamp my fist etsy shop with some funky children's prints and other digital art (by me:).

Autumnleah used to be lots of unique jewelry and a few prints and now I am sick of jewelry and LOVE working on my computer... so thats what I am doing! If you take a look at the shop you may recognize that I have a slight obsession with deer, and birds, and owls, and russian nesting dolls... pretty much anything that doesn't look american crafty. I am completely re-decorating my daughters room in this theme and thought others might enjoy it as well!

Anyway, I hope to start blogging about my etsy friends as well very soon since I have completely fallen off the horse on that one. Hope you take a look at my new items and let me know what you think of the new

Sometimes I come across something that I love so much that it makes me want to gag... anyone know what that feels like??? Anyway, this week I came across these socks and they were soooooooo cute that I pretty much lost my lunch, lol! So then, I thought to myself: "self, wouldn't it be great if you made these adorable socks into leg warmers and THEN had a matching robot onesie made to match??". Well I thought I was pretty darn smart and did just that! I contacted Jen at http://jenscraftcorner.etsy.com/ and showed her a pic of the socks and asked her if she could make it happen... and she did!!!!!! She is amazing isn't she???:)
So stop by and check out our super cute robot baby girl items (probably best to not do it after eating) and enjoy!

BUSY!!!!!!

Wow! I have had Felicity's Boutique open for only a week and have already filled over 15 orders! YAY! It has been so crazy trying to build up stock, decide what to buy extras of, have at least one of every kind made at all times, AND get everyones purchases ready to ship! I am at a point where I am feeling like I can relax a little and see what happens though.

I still love making jewelry, but with soooo many jewelry sellers on etsy, I needed another outlet for my creativity:) Wangly Legs has definitely been that for me and I am excited to see where it goes! Today "soooosoxy.com", tomorrow Parents Magazine! Haha... hey you never know;)

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has purchased from me, helped me on my sock hunts, or listened to me complain about my trials (lol), and I have only been open a week!!!

BTW ~ Belle LOVES Wangly Legs and cries when I take them off at night!
